The minutes from the 12 May 2026 recorded positive results from the Committee Effectiveness Survey, achieving an 84% response rate. Feedback highlighted the need for greater member engagement, more idea sharing and clearer direction in discussions, with members encouraged to suggest agenda topics and raise issues directly with the Chair. The panel reviewed the status of property wordings 3022 and 3023, agreeing to revisit plans for transitioning to newer versions by year-end while recognising continued market use of older wordings. Updates were provided on cyber risk coding discussions with Lloyd’s and the CUO Data Centres Project, including proposed educational briefings with the Uptime Institute covering data centre operations, AI impacts, and risk management. The group agreed that sharing legal advice was preferable to creating an LTA model clause. Discussions also covered chemical disease exclusions, claims activity, broker pressure on deductibles and policy clauses, challenges obtaining accurate loss records, and considerations for 2027 business planning.
