The Panel confirmed arrangements for the 2027 market lecture, which is expected to focus on spinal injuries and related equine health issues. Members also discussed event format and attendee preferences. 

Members reviewed ongoing discussions with the market claims data provider regarding access to wider market information and reporting capabilities. The Panel reiterated the value of market-level data for analysis and monitoring of trends. 

The Panel agreed to develop and maintain a factual reference directory of independent veterinary specialists by discipline and territory. The resource is intended solely as an information-sharing tool and not as a recommendation framework. 

The Wordings Sub-Group reported further progress on its review of consumer and commercial policy wordings. Work continued on aligning wording suites across territories, developing a wording selection and endorsement mapping tool, and finalising related customer documentation. 

The Panel also noted progress on the development of Insurance Product Information Documents (IPIDs) for European business and discussed continuing work on model wording initiatives. 

Members shared information on educational resources arising from recent industry lectures and discussed wider equine welfare initiatives of interest to the market.
