The Joint Specie Committee met on 07 January 2026 and reviewed progress across a number of market workstreams.  Key decisions included arranging further discussions with Lloyd’s and LMA Legal on cyber wording and human intervention requirements, progressing publication of the Restitution and Repatriation clauses following legal review, recirculating the Loss of Artwork Authentication Certificates wording for sign-off, beginning recruitment for two U35/co-opted Committee vacancies, and considering whether a market advisory note on SMB compliance would be appropriate.
