Updates from California’s WCIRB highlighted expanded loss elimination factor research and improved access to workers’ compensation data. Members also explored the deepening relationship with Paradigm, including possibilities for claims consulting and transaction-based claims resolution services that could reduce claims uncertainty and volatility. Cyber developments remained prominent, with discussions covering updated Lloyd’s cyber catastrophe scenarios, model SME cyber wording development and growing AI-related risks. Attention was also paid to the Burnett claims database and its potential value for evaluating abuse and liability exposures.
