Description

Join the LMA for an overview of the fundamentals of handling winter storm claims. The event will showcase case studies that explore policy coverage considerations and challenges.

Delegates will develop greater confidence and strengthen technical knowledge in the effective handling of winter storm claims.

The event will feature discussions on:

• the meteorological event, the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) and why it could happen again
• identifying and understanding coverage concerns while applying the reasonable standard of care language from the Texas Department of Insurance
• the process to fully understand the damages sustained and the application of the policy(s)
• the development of a comprehensive claim analysis workbook.
