The LMA Operations Committee (LMAOC) leads the Lloyd’s Market Association’s efforts in shaping and coordinating operational change, process optimisation and modernisation across the Lloyd’s market. It ensures that the collective interests of managing agents are effectively represented in the evolution of core market processes and technologies.
LMAOC’s responsibilities include:
Providing guidance to the LMA Board on technology and operational matters and establishing principles that underpin the LMA’s leadership in market transformation.
Serving as a central forum for managing agents to align on shared objectives related to digitisation, common operating models and operational efficiency, and to develop strategies to achieve them.
Helping set the direction, pace, and priorities of the London market’s modernisation agenda through active engagement and leadership.
Working closely with the Corporation of Lloyd’s and Lloyd’s Europe to ensure market processes reflect the operational needs and realities of managing agents.
