The FinPro Claims Group was set up in 2010 to provide a representative forum to facilitate the discussion of common issues and concerns within the financial institutions, professional indemnity and directors and officers market. The group reports directly to the LMA Claims Committee.
The FinPro Claims Group takes the lead in identifying and investigating related issues, with the aim of producing solutions for the benefit of the market. It advises and provides feedback to the LMACC where its class-specific issues have a wider implication on the market, setting up project or sub-groups to address specific issues.
The group hosts an annual FinPro Symposium, bringing together delegates from across the Lloyd’s market to explore emerging FinPro trends, hear expert insights on systemic FinPro related exposures and examine their impact on claims handling. The forum supports knowledge sharing and equips attendees with the skills to respond effectively to evolving FinPro risks.
The Group continue to monitor the ongoing impacts of Cladding on the FinPro market, regularly hosting Market meetings with all interested parties.
The group has created a guidance document to support FinPro claims handlers with the intricacies of handling Lloyd’s Claims Lead Arrangement.
