The Navigating Limits Sub-Committee acts as a sub-committee to the Joint Hull Committee and aims to provide guidance and education around Navigational risks encountered by both commercial shipping and Yachts.
We seek to provide a resource to market participants regarding issues surrounding navigation in areas of perceived enhanced risk as well as reviewing emerging risks in our ever-changing risk environment.
The sub-committee has recently taken on new membership with a view to updating guidance and reviewing emerging risk. As guidance is updated, we will issue advice via this webpage.
The resources and links provided here aim to provide both a resource and education on what the key navigational risks are. The sub-committee will also review new and emerging risks.
The committee will make available ice maps to show the applicable approximate areas for trading warranties for the mostly widely used wordings.
