Emma Bennett of Lloyd’s provided an update on delegated underwriting performance, including enhanced oversight of delegated authority business, new monitoring tools, portfolio solutions and the importance of improved data, transparency and performance management. The Panel received an update on the market Commercial Property BI wording, with most feedback resolved and a small number of points remaining before final legal review. Members also considered committee effectiveness survey feedback, agreeing actions to broaden international engagement, strengthen links with other committees, invite guest speakers and encourage participation from younger underwriters. Claims and Non-Marine Committee updates were noted, and members also discussed Lloyd’s complaints process consultation, ABI Property Panel representation and future engagement with Lloyd’s representatives.
