The talent crisis is felt even more poignantly in non-client-facing departments, such as claims, where capacity and capability challenges are felt across the community.
Since 2023, the LMA’s claims team and its committees have taken a proactive and strategic approach to addressing the talent crisis and enhancing the claims career proposition. The approach aligns with the LMA’s wider business objective of broadening and deepening the talent pool in the market through the delivery of technical expertise.
